Introducing Ask Charlie - Back To Basics Sewing Course
This is a 2 day long simple and effective course. We'll be going right back to basics and getting stuck into the fundamental skills needed to ensure you're a dab hand with the needle!
This course has been created from the homegrown skills I've honed over the years. From threading the needle to great knots you need to know, to hemming, shortening and repairing tips and tricks, I'll be sharing them all with you in the hope it will enable you to stitch away with confidence.
Making do and mending is such a wonderfully sustainable way to live, and I believe that if you take care of your belongings they will take care of you - so I'll be showing you how to lengthen the life of your much-loved pieces and enable you to enjoy them for longer.
We'll also finish the course by creating your own peg bag, which will incorporate many of the skills we'll learn throughout so you can get into practice right away.
